Escape the busy on our summer mini retreat designed for busy rebels and slow seekers craving some time away from the daily grind.

Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by the rush of life and craving a dose of calm this is the place to pause and catch your breath.

Hosted at our new hideaway retreat space in Laughton, East Sussex (near Lewes). A calm countryside escape surrounded by meadows, horses and ancient woodland.

Gentle Yoga - 1 hour of restful, slow yoga in the meadow with CJYoga. Suitable for beginners.

Flower Pressing - A slow, gentle stroll to gather Wildflower and meadow grasses which we will gently press together, whilst setting our intentions for the season ahead.

Nature Creativity - Create a calming nature-inspired card keepsake for your future self, using pre-pressed delicate wildflowers, dried flowers and nature images to write our intentions inside. All crafting materials are provided.

Closing Circle at the firepit - Gather together for a calming cacao and cake.

Parking: Free parking on site..

What to wear? Comfortable clothing, we aim to spend most out the day outside and in the wooden cabin, however activities will be moved inside if need be.

What to bring? A refillable water bottle, cushion and blanket for yoga. Yoga mats will be provided, however you are welcome to bring your own (if preferred).

Can I come on my own? Absolutely, many of our guests come alone and quickly feel at home. You’ll be well taken care of.

Do I have to be experienced for the crafting? Not al all, it’s all about the process, not the outcome. You’ll be gently guided. No artistic skills needed - just an open mind. It’s more about how it feels that how it looks.

Terms & conditions: Tickets are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend however you may transfer your place to another person. In this case you must inform us by email us the name change, contact details along with any dietary requirements. We will also be happy to try and find another slow seeker to take your place on our social media.

We must be notified by email of any dietary requirements no later than 5 days prior to event date. Please note we are unable to cater for special dietary requirements without 5 days notice, in this case you/the guest will need to provide their own lunch and snacks.

In the unlikely rare event of personal illness, or personal emergency we will do our best to provide cover . If this is not possible & the event has to be cancelled we will offer a full refund. However The Day She Let Go, Willow and Wild and CJYoga will not be held liable for any consequential loss or additional costs incurred.
